From the CEO

In 2000 I decided to apply for a position in software training at a local computer training center. Knowing the challenges within the information technology market in 1999 and 2000, I felt confident I could obtain my first job as a software professional. I had no prior software training background other than using a word processor to write college papers and surf the internet. I also had no prior teaching experience and nor business development.

Accompanied with determination to win I had my first professional experience with in software training and became enamored with the idea of how software works and can be manipulated to meet specific business requirements.

In less than one year I had received multiple custom software programming requests from customers desiring to create custom business software applications. These requests came from local businesses in or around the County of Santa Cruz . Once again, having no background in starting or running a software company, I hired resources and started designing custom business software applications to meet the growing business demands of local companies who sought ways to reduce operating costs and increase competitive advantages.

Since 2001 A1 Enterprise has completed over 35 custom business software applications for small, medium, and large size businesses. A1 Enterprise has also implemented an effective software project management process that our customers can count on.

With each completed project A1 Enterprise invests additional software expertise to better serve the needs of both new and existing customers.

I have factored my degree in psychology and communication into creating a successful software business model by understanding and listening to the needs of the people and companies we assist. In addition to the years of developing software I obtained my A.S. degree in Construction and Energy Management in 2007 at Cabrillo College in Aptos, CA.
