Cost Control Software
Business Requirements:
The original problem was having cost control problems of various forms go unnoticed until after they had reached the accounting software or payroll software. There were cost control and budget overruns that would not get exposed until after down the line where money had already been spent, or consultants and employees paid. There was no recourse to ensure that resources completed a task within an agreed upon budget without going into dispute and spending more time and money researching why the cost was higher than originally expected and who was responsible for covering cost control management.
There was a need to identify when a budget was maxed out before invoices were submitted, or payroll was processed and then automatically flag a work issue requiring cost control management. The people doing the work and billing for their work, whether employees, vendors, or contractors, needed a place to record time and costs in such a way that should they reach a certain point there would be a notification or preventative cost control software that ensured a manager would become aware that cost control was an issue as quickly as possible to make decisions on how to proceed with the work at hand.
Implementation:
A1 Enterprise implemented a new web-based cost control software providing managers with a means to apply cost control processes to employees, contractors, and vendors. Cost control software by A1 Enterprise has various ways a manager can work with budgets, budget approvals, and max budgets. Cost control software additionally ensures that cost control software is managed in a timely manner which helps managers identify potential cost control issues as quickly as possible and take pro-active initiative to prevent or reduce cost overruns.
Results:
In the following year, the client had total cost control and remained 100% free of cost control issues such as surprise invoices, budget overruns, and was able to set and maintain cost control budgets for all employees, contractors, and vendors for business activities and projects and hold them accountable for these budgets successfully
Return on Investment:
The most significant return on investment of our cost control software is a profitable year even with an overall decline in gross revenue. Better cost control management practices gave our organization a secure and reliable method to control costs of all daily work activities.
